pick pocket apprentice

I have looked all over and can't find a person to train me in pick pocket apprentice. I've searched the forums but can't find any answer. Can soumeone please help? I though barmaids did it but none I talk to give me that option.

Either join the Thieves Underground or go and see Vollinger (The Gnome in the Dernholm pub).

Dont do the Pickpocket Master quest.
It hold no benifits what so ever.
Unless you like the idea of being deemed the local perve

It doesn't really help you much. Besides, your chance of getting caught while planting items is fairly small as it is with 5 points and an Expert rank in Pickpocket.

Picking pockets is the fine art of stealing from others. This skill allows the character to add and remove items from the inventory of another person. A failure in the use of this skill may garner unwelcome attention from his or her intended victim, if said victim makes a successful Perception check. On a critical failure the character is always caught, however - even by the blindest numbskull imaginable.

Pick pocket Apprentice â€“ the character is ONLY caught on a critical failure

Pick pocket Expert - the item size penalty is halved

Pick pocket Master â€“ the character cannot be caught when planting an item

But how often do you plant items anyway? Theres about 3 or 4 thieves quests that require it.

And gamebanshee aren't being very original they took that word for word from the manual.

Well, Arcanum *is* an RPG. I plant lot's of stuff to rid me of evidence after killing some innocent dude or whatnot.

Throw everything on the ground next to them, they pick it up and use it themselves. Or use the Kree fate point trick and get 100 fate points and you can plant everything you want without ever failing.

Very close indeed.

I'm going to achieve what I set out to do, 1000, 2000 and then 3000 posts within the year. On top of that I've made it on to the staff, gotten a custom avatar and made the 150 000th post.
