    It happened when we got into a discussion about deli slicers, and how Vorak's employers wouldn't spring for chainmail gloves, and he said something like "Oh, it's no bother if I lose a finger. I just stitch myself up, and keep working."
    And I said, "Well, Vorak can just grow it back. He's half starfish, you know."
    And the legend was born.
