This is the first time i play this game. I am a big fun of Fallout. My friend recommonded this one and i am trying it. The problem is the editer provided on the web does not work properly. whenever i open a saved game, the character showed is alway elf even if the character is a human or halfing. and the character points are not correctly showed either. Would some one please tell me what to do?
I agree. Play the game, experience all aspects of this amazing game .... and then start to fiddle with it.

I've tried the one from here, and its been modified or something. Everytime I play with the one from here, I get the best treasure and seem somehow more powerful right off the bat. At the crash site for instance, I always find tons of good treasure and magickal stuff. The biggest indication is when I fight the bozo's at the bridge in Shrouded Hills. If I can kill them no problem with standard weapons when I'm only level 3 or whatever, somethings wrong. With the patch from Sierra, the treasure at the crash site will fetch you a few bucks at shops, instead of becoming primary munitions right off the bat. The bridge gang will definately put up a strong fight and may requie a few reloads to get it right. All around, a fairer, more challenging game. Thats just from my experience. On another note, if people keep querying Sierra about Arcanum and its patches, it might start (wishful thinking) wondering if they're missing out on a whole market....
