I just made an ogre with 4 int and 1 beauty, People dont like me much and the dialogue is hilarious, Almost killed Virgil though, he pissed me off alot...

Don't even let it get to that point. Once, Vorak had suggested that we play the game without allowing anyone to talk. Just go from town to town, killing everyone before they can utter a word.

But, it's hard to gain followers. Well, except for the dog. He doesn't talk.

Yeah for the dog all u need to do is kill the dude attacking him, I followed the dude and ended up getting him to attack the dog, the dog butchered him and later the entire town of ashbury, Tee Hee

 

How early would you want to dump virgil (and althea I suppose) out of the group if you've already finished the game earlier and are plauying a tech aptitude character in the new game? Presumably Virgil ends up being nearly useless once the tech aptitude climbs so high that most of his heals are simply wasted.

your recommending an awful lot of followers.. with only 8charisma my max is only 2followers... also i am sortof wondering... can you force followers to read shematics? or is that only for players? i'm planning to play car-arcanum for the first time as a techie... i played arcanum regular several times as a mage but always shunned tech cause it seemed awfully weak

jayna magnus althea and helena sound interesting... as far as the party size limit goes... could i like just tell virgil to "wait here" and he wouldnt count as one of my party? and then i could keep althea?
