The charged sword is better, as it causes electrical damage as well. Add in a few charged rings and your attack speed goes through the roof! Itsalso the only weapon I've been able to give to Jayna where she doesn't damage her own armor and chop her head off in the process of slaying a rat!

Also, when you go to teh Isle of Despair, remember its a one shot deal....

I actually meant about Vain Stain.

    EDIT

If you are on the Isle of Despair, don't forget the Pit Sword.

    You'd rather I ate yours, wouldn't you? :p

And Vorak, no, I meant your joke. It was bad, really bad, and you still didn't use your shield. I'm surprised you haven't been knocked down yet.

Whether you are manly enough to use it is another questing. *Puts shield up to protect from swinging sword*
    Bunny- whatever floats your boat...

I don't think that was a no, Telcontar.
If your sword is big enough, you don't need a shield.

Oh he can be anywhere he wants to be. Trust me. And yes his muscles are large in person as well...
Vorak, its about knowing how to use your sword, not just the fact of having one. But I bet it sure does help...

I like the balanced sword because its fast and powerful. It's not overpowered, but it's pretty good
