Because Pool of Radiance must have gone out by now in the US, I wanted to ask how interested are you in the game, or if you've started playing, what are your first impressions?
As a passionate AD&D-roleplayer, I'm very anxious to play Pool. But at the moment my whole computer-time is spent with playing Arcanum and Diablo II (my all-time-fav). X
Sorry to say that at this board, but NOPE - no way! X (Perhaps I should see if I made up my 'last will'!)
I picked up my copy today, but I have no idea when I will find time to ply that game. First I want to finish Arcanum with all my seven characters (two down, five to go), then there is JA with expansion, and that will take me around Christmas. BTW I'm still thinking about two more games: Morrowing and Arx Fatalis.
Within the past month, I have aquired Arcanum which I am 30% of the way through, Jagged Alliance 2, JA2:Unfinished Business, and Alpha Centauri, all of wich I am just begining. Yesterday I traded in some console games for Pool of Radiance. I've read some of POR's manual, however may not get to it for awhile with all the other games that I'm messing around with, however would realy like to see the game, see it's interface and graphics, maybe if it turned out to be the be all, end all of games, I'd temporarily toss aside the others to play it, but now with mention of bugs and warnings that POR can wipe out an entire operating system, I'm afraid to install it-I may have very well wasted an excellent trade in deal that could've been spent at a later date on a working game. =(
