Is it me, or does the manual totally suck? With no index or TOC you have to read the whole damn thing to find out one little bit of info. Also I still have a ton of questions after reading most of it. And, as a game designer (part-time) I can tell you that while a game should require thought to play, you should NOT have to sit with the manual by your side.
What, exactly, do you need the manual at your side for? Also, I actually like a game that has enough depth about it that I need to look something up every so often, but I've never had to keep the manual close so I could refer to it constantly.
Not all the time but enough that it's kinda annoying For example: What does TH mean, and where is that ED stands for elec dam? I couldn't find any reference
hmm depth in the game doesnt come from the manual;p especially if u cant cut it and have to read that there is *depth* and where is the *depth* in the game. and arcanum isnt really a deep game anyone could play thru it and it doesnt make u feel any special world it is created in
