Hello, I guess this qualifies me as a newbie. I have treid about 8 different times to get past the human and the two orges at the bridge, I keep gettting killed. I am a level 6 educator. got blessed, did the camera thing. halfway through the mine. I think I need to cross the bridge to continue. any advice!!!!! Please??????? engir
I suppose it all has to do with what your skills are focused towards. If you have a bit in throwing the grinades help a great deal. If you have firearms skill, move as far away as you can get, switching to turnbased, and opening up with as many shots as you can manage before he gets to you (hopefuly only getting Lukan and one of the ogres and killing Lukan in his charge) If you are a mage Fireflash rips them apart exceedingly quickly. At range you can descimate the entire group before they get to you with some luck.. unfortunately if you are unlucky they do alot of endurance damage and you'll pass out in the first round. Melee types have the hardest time of them all here supprisingly enough. The approch is straight forward but winning requires luck. Regardless of what kind of character you are you can put a point into persuasion and convice them to give you 200 gold, leave, and then collect the bounty for "getting rid" of them. And finnaly, if you can do none of the above you can always blow up the bridge materials. It will piss off the constible but he's a complete whining looser anyway..
If you're a melee fighter, it's worth putting two points into the mental spells or the nature spells so you can get stun or entangle, respectively, and control the fight better. Also useful later in the game.
