Nope, but now that you mention it, I think the sword in the closed area is the Arcane sword.

Yah i tend to lean towards magic swords but i have no idea how any one can like the Stillwater blade. That thing sucks. I mean sure you get a wolf to fight by you but the sword's damage sucks and anyways the wolf doesn't contribute to the battle that well at all.

Hey whats the Thread Sword and where do i get it?

    Perhaps it's the Russian translation?

That's probably it. English can be a cumbersome language at times.
*edit* Did anyone else see me go past 300? I need to get out more...

Apart from those ya'll already mentioned...I'm kind of partial to The Sword of Baltar (carried by LIana Del Par).

    IRRC it does decent damage.

IWhat about Daggers.....what would be your preferences?

I don't like daggers. I don't like swords, for that matter :) I prefer chakrams.

But if I had to choose, I'd probably go for the fine steel dagger (it's good from the very beginning, and can puncture rats greatly!) or the mystic dagger. There's an arcane dagger, but I can't recall the image or its utility right now :(

The arcane dagger is kida pink with a "serrated" blade....

I'm also not high on daggers, although the Dagger of speed combined with high Mana and Strength and Melee skill makes for a quick slice'n' dice.

The stiletto looks pretty cool but never really used it.

I feel that if money system and availabilty were a little more realistic (however not disgustingly hard) that Daggers would end up being used more....

If there's a weapon that's fantastic, it's the Arcane STAFF. I had a mage with STR 6, and I still took away a whopping 20-30-something of my enemies fatigue-points. If there's a weapon that a mage is in need of, it's the Arcane staff.

Heard of it, even seen an image, but I still haven't personally encountered it.

As to the Arcane staff, its fatigue damage is formidable, but the real bonus is the 80 mana points.

It's ass-kicking when battling other mages. You take their fatigue away before they've even begun picking what spell to cast.

The Blade of Xerxes is cool. Well, its name sounds cool. The damage isn't all that swell though, unless you're a master of melee with a STR of 20. The only time I use a dagger is if I throw it at someone or something. I use small weapons like that to instigate fights when I don't feel like getting my hands dirty.

Aren't they both the same thing? I honestly don't know, I've only ever gone into the cavern to retrieve the blade myself.

I know that the one in the cavern has the graphic of a magic dagger, where as the one you can ask for looks like a normal dagger, I believe that the one in the cave also does less damage, but it may have a higher speed. Been to long to remember exactly.
