SPOILERS - can anyone help? :)

Hello Arcanum lovers! :wink:

1. What is the Gem of Malachi Rench for? Geoffrey seems terribly interested in it. I also dabble in Necromantic Black magick, so perhaps I might find use for it?

2. Where can I find an apprentice trainer for pickpocket?

3. There is a sword surrounded by walls in the Ancient Maze. What does it do?

4. Where do I begin the quest that requires the Bangellian Sword? Who do I speak to?

1. nothing :sad: i think its just a quest item for geoffry.

2. Any of the theives of the underground (disguesed as citizens of tarant/caladon) also some gaurds in various citise will train it.

3. It is an arcane sword... (as denoted in the uncompressed game files) however.. noone has ever figured out how to get it though.

4. hehe in the second to last step in the main plot ... around lvl 35ish.. stringy pete gives you the quest (TO DESTROY IT) it is a very very evil blade... so if your playing good... don't bother, if your playing evil.. you'll have to save enough money to buy a boat (instead of doing the stringy pete quests) and you can weild the scourge (5-30, random deathtouch, harm, fire)

I picked Geoffrey for the Gem of Malachi Rench anyway just to say I've got it. lol How sad am I.... :wink:

Tell me, do you or anyone else know, where the thieves outside of Blackroot are located? The Mayor wants me to brain them and get his Badge of thingy back, but I can't seem to find the thieves he speaks of....

 

you have to go to train station, cross the water (it goes into world map) and look for a path- they are there.

also, b4 going there, go to mayor's house, and head down the shoreline- there's a nice naked halfling you should meet!

3) There are several other weapons that are better thatn this as noted from the other posts.

 

there are actually three naked halflings, and if you solve all three riddles they give you a MYsterious Gem which summons one later on. (it kicks)

I did the naked halfling quest. I think what's more scary than the fact they are naked, is that if you use the gem you get a BIG naked halfling. lol :wink:

I discovered Lianna Del Par's sword earlier. I had a look at her inventory and she's carrying a mother of a sword. Pity she's wise to pickpocketing. :sad:

I was accosted by the REAL Stillwater Giant and I've got the real pelt. Should I sell it to Parnell for 2000 gold pieces, or is there another use for it?
