Lost my intelligence at the Panarii Temple!!!

When I enter the Panarii Temple in Caladon after slogging around the sewers, I suddenly lose my intelligence and talk like a caveman. Plus Raven doesn't like me so much anymore because of this and people in the temple talk to me like a simpleton. I have a couple of unidentified items, possibly one is cursed? However I am not equiped with any items. Any help with this?

 

You got yourself a realy serious problem man, i have no idea what could have happened....i suposse it is a problem on the game

 

The answer to almost all things like this are:
Are you patched? If not, you're a miserable excuse for a human being and should be.

If you are patched, then I hope you remembered backup saves.
I cannot think of any items that would cause such a thing, unless you've got a magick stick of drunkenness!

 

By which the man means, get the damn patch and reload to a point before you entered the Temple. This is a known bug fixed by the patch, but the patch is not retroactive.

Are you sure that’s a bug, loosing your mind at a church is farley common even in real life.

 

In real life it has less to do with the church and more with the person's preexisting state of mind. In Arcanum it's a bug.
