Qintarra

I think i messed up badly. I have an alignment of 97 good and i have 10 beauty. But when i get to the entrance of Qintarra, these wisps and elfs attack me so i kill them. Then i go inside, and EVERYONE starts attacking me. Unfortunately, i saved AFTER i killed the wisps. Any ideas? Ive heard theres some raven girl or something i need to talk to so i can see sliver lady.

 

Come on yall, ive been playing 5 days straight (spring break) someone has to know a way to get around this or maybe even skip qintarra?

 

Well there is a theory about teleporting after doing something bad that will make the reaction go back to normal. Never really tried though.

And in your case it would probably involve having to switch to real time combat and then porting your keester outta there and then going back....good luck with that though....

If you don't have teleport...(and this crackpot theory actually wortks)...you can always use a save game editor to give your character Teleport and then once you get into Quintarra, you can save and then un-edit the file so you can remove the spell.

 

What did you do in Falcons Ache? If you killed anything your screwed.

Anyways i just deleted the file, started a new one, and when i went to qintarra this time, it was ok.
But, i have another problem.
I am an thanatos, and I AM LOST.
I go to this camp and read a book, but i have no idea where to go.
I went to the Alg (SP?) place and found some monsters, but i see no roads/paths anywhere. Help?

 

The glitch is that the will o' wisps outside Qintarra are allied with the guards. Never sleep right outside Qintarra as a result, because if you hit a random encounter, you'll get attacked by both. Everyone in town being allied with the guards you'ld have to fight...

 

Well i feel dumb. But, i did beat arcanum for the first time yesterday. The last boss was WAY to easy. Really the whole fighting aspect of the game was to easy (although i did have it on easy). When you up the difficulty to moderate or hard, does it really make much of a difference? What does upping the difficulty do? More expensive prices, harder enemies, slower lvling up?
BTW, as a side note. Whats the point of going to madam lils? Do you get full health and fatigue when u buy a girl or what? Anyway, i am going to start a new game soon and will try being an elven or half elven mage this time (i was a human warrior with 0 magickal and 0 technological aptitude).

The only difference I've seen with the higher difficulty settings is slower leveling.
