Fo 2 runs a lot better than fo does on my xp. Fo can crash anytime during combat while fo 2 does that 10% of the time.

Videos work fine in both for me, but the end game slides don't - they get displayed for about 5 seconds each without sound and go to the next one. Now there's some big fucking reward for finishing the game.

Don't worry about missing out the vids in FO 2, the story sucks anyhow. My first, and then pirate version of FO 2 had a similiar problem, when it came to the elder movie where she explained what you need to do, it just turned off. But I knew what to do anyway since you can get that from dialog and pip boy status.

 

I have the same problem of both crashing on my windowMe computer. One place it crash the most when you talk to the NCR President about the hero from FO1.

Fallout 2 have alots of bug cause by European Government pasting laws that say in than game there can be no red blood shown, no killing of childern or kidnapping of childern and etc. The law are nomore in effect in Europe.

 

What are you talking about? The only way Fallout was altered in the Euro release was the children being missing.

The computer games before the internet became big ran very well without the need for any patches.
