I think that it will be good to add smileys in the "quick reply" window,and to add a link for every forum's last topic at the main page...it would be very cool if it is possible...

I've done lots of hacks and such for phpBB forums. If you wanted smileys there, I could do it...

 

ouch. okay, i should warn you, because apparantly you haven't completely read the rules, and Jar is evil. not to say I don't revere our Supreme Leader, but he's evil. so.

do not, under any circumstances, for any reason, ever, gravedig. gravedigging is replying to a post that is more than two weeks old. Jar is very picky about this, he will rip out your liver and skull fuck you.

Anyone can add mods if they can read, follow instructions, and have about an hour of spare time.

 

What I meant to say was, I've done lots of hacks and such for phpBB forums. I wouldnt mind updating the forums, although you do have the latest stable version of phpBB.

If needed, I can code in PHP. But only simple stuff. I could figure out whatever needed to be done. I basically taught myself SQL, Apache, and HTML. So learning more PHP is the next step.

What re-design thing?

That is the Advanced Quick Reply mod which includes smileys below the quick reply.

 

Alternatively, you could memorize the codes for the smileys you use...

 

Thats too much work.

 

or you could not use smilies. cuz, you know, they're gay.

 

I'd rather not have smileys with Quick Reply, it kinda brings down the IQ of the forum a little.
