How are manuals used from the Tarant University?

First, welcome to the forum.

Second, this post belongs in the Arcanum Hints & Tips Forums. :x

Third, you simply put the manual in your inventory to use it. When you have enough manuals of the right types, you will be able to use the schematic that you are trying to use. They only work with found or purchased schematics. You do have to have at least one point in the field covered by the manuals for them to work, in my experience. :roll:
