    Doc Roberts- a gunslinger+tech healer.

The police guy from Caladon. His rants could be fun to listen to ;)

The guy who comes to Tulla with a water gem. He looks like one mean techie!

    Well these are mine:

    - Gideon Laeir (the ultra fast Molochean had agent who meets you as you leave Min Gorad`s chamber.

    - The Magical Smith from Tarant

    - Treat (the shapeshifting Orc in the Boil)

    - Min Gorad

The Permanancy trick will get you just about any of them, but the`'ll just be forced followers, nothing more...no extra speech from them.

I think he is not that fast. It's about the dagger.

Yes, it is indeed a shame that there are no shape shifter followers. (Raven with her moronic habit of casting Body of Water on herself doesn't really count).

    - Or Jormund casting Body of Fire (which being a dwarf magic user just does wonders for fatigue)

    - Or Zan casting Body of Stone all the time...

I'm still trying to see if I can land the Stillwater Giant as a follower using Animal COntrol while he's a rabbit

Dante is the worst of all in this regard. He casts Body of AIR on himself, and his attacks don't even scratch the enemy's hide.

What's his melee skill like (Dante)...cos you could always use a mental inhibitor on him hehehehe

What if you were to pump him with Muscle Builder...would his reduced intelligence make him lose access to higher level spells even after he's "bought" them with character points?

And it would do what? Dante is a good melee fighter, but with Body of Air his attacks just don't deal any damage.

    Hmm interesting indeed.

No, he is ok for the most part. The best magick healer in the game, after all, and a decent melee fighter. The problem only occurs when I am up against a REALLY tough opponent (someone the size of Stringy Pete)

Well from his point of view its a pretty smart move....Bones can't really damage air right?

But truth be told, when I do play maigc using characters, which isn't very often be quite honest, I RARELY take any of teh Air Elemental spells...

Body of Air seems more useful if you cast on your OPPONENT than yourself...then you can spell jam the prick or cost Call Winds near him..for alleged "major damage"

Yeah. But from my point of view, he renders himself useless when I need him the most. Cowardly bastard.

Yeah, air is pretty useless. Even more useless than the Divination, Phantasm and Meta colleges.

Its a shame that Call Winds can't just disperse someone with Body of Air all over the room ;)
