    Just wondering if anyone is working on or has released any quality, lengthy MODs or expansions for Arcanum, or has everyone been too busy still trying to complete the shipped campaign? =)

    Well I'm working on a mod but I'm not rushing into building a lengthy one as yet, got to learn to crawl before I walk so I'm experimenting with just a few linked areas at first.

    As for the quality well of course I'd like to think it was the finest :smile:. However I posted my initial idea on the AGES classified board and it didn't get a single reply so I guess it must suck :sad:

    There are already 2 MODs made by Shellman and 1 by someone who submitted it at TA's. Does anyone else has any?

    It's "mod" people. Short for modification! Not MOD or M.O.D. Sorry, but this really irritates me for some reason.

    Jeez, as you can see Acacia there seems to be little genuine interest in mods/MODS/M.O.D.S at the moment,
    there seems to be far more concern on how to spell the damn word. We'll probably have to wait until most people
    are bored with the published story before we can have an intelligent discussion on this topic :sad:

    Well I've got the maps for my first module complete and I'm now working on the scripts.
    I hope to have the first version of my module available in a few weeks. Its quite a
    short story designed for a good aligned technologist. If its successful I will
    expand it to cater for good mages and then later add scripts for an evil plot line.

    LOL! I totaly forgot I even started this topic and wasn't sure it would get any replies when I did.
    Deathlock-look forward to seeing your completed project.
    How versatile is this editor? Can I create my own creatures to throw into the game? I imagine you just get a handful of premade ones to scatter about and designing your own requires 3D modeling talent and programming knowlege. I'm familiar with modeling, but not modeling within video game poly limits.

    well i really need help..i read the manuals, and still dont get it, i tried makin a little mod..which was 1 person and 1 dialogue. and load it up as a network game, and sometimes it didnt work, other times i couldnt find the person i put in... how do i put the character in my starting map?

    Read Shellman's documentation. It's in there. She pointed out to edit something like WMap_rd.mes (uncertain).
