Guys have any of you notice that Worthless Mutt's name just became Dog at a certain level ?? Y ? I just don't like my character saying "Dog wait", its kinda silly...:smile:
actually when you get him... he's worthless, as soon as you untarget him, have him heal to full and target him again he becomes a dog. later
Worthless Mutt is his description, much like any other unqie NPC has a description before you talk to them and find out their name like "Elf Noble." Dog is just the name, it's a Mad Max/Fallout thing.
They should've named him Dogmeat just as a nod to Fallout. Just like the brahmin in Pratlett's museum in Tarant. "Say, haven't I seen this somewhere before?" Haw Haw.
Can you name the dog? Hope Troika put an option on this so we can choose which name we would give him. :smile:
Dunno about that but my mutt was only level 12 when I got him, and apprentice at melee - not 20 and master at melee like this side claims... Anybody know what the scoop is with that?
i think dog is a good name cuz he s a dog so his name is dog just dog i think there is no better name for him BTW i ve a question i ve read that he don t take a follower slot does that mean that he dont count like a follower for example i ve charisma on 20 and have 5 followers + the dog is that possible ? when i meet him first he was also only lev 12 and had apprentice status mebbe you must wait till your lev 20 or its just a bug or the information on TA is incorrect
To be a master melee guy you have to have 5 in that skill. When the dog gets 5 in that skill he'll master it, or instead of distributing a skill point he'll use it to become a higher training lvl. Alls I know is at like lvl 20-30 something he was a master.
It would be cool.... I hope we can someday...I already have named him buttbiter (tatic = put enemy down to 10% and have the dog bite him in the flank to finish him off...) Cornelius
