The only serious question I have in this thread is, is there a place where I can find Heartstones a plenty? The rest of this is just speculation... I met the historian in the Wheel Clan and he has sent me on a rather lengthy adventure to return the Durin Stone to him, he's equipped me with the schematic of a key. I was wondering, I have the strategy guide and read the spoiler, it appears that once the key is assembled, I am to take the key to the museum in Tarant and use it on a safe there, how was I supposed to figure this out for myself? The only clues I recieved were "place of iron where lies the stone" and mention of a cemetary, this doesn't add up to 'the museum in Tarant'. This quest would appear to be a trial and error one, where once someone had built the key, they would have to go through every single town, every single house, every single dungeon, trying it out in hopes of opening something, and Arcanum is a HUGE world. Has anyone completed this quest? Did they do it without a spoiler? How did you figure out where exactly you were supposed to go? Are there many other quests like this?
Bedoken Village where the lizards live, the stones spawn at the camp site I waited a few days so I could get some for offerings to the Gods.
Thanks Severaj, have yet to find that village, guess I'll have to wait untill the game directs me there.
Durin Stone... To tell you the truth, the only part of this I had a problem with the first time through was getting the key to the Iron Clan entrance. I thought the key you assembled with the schematic was to open the door to the Iron Clan caves, but it turned out to be for the chest in the Zoological Society Museum. I had already used a Fate point to critical succeed at lockpicking that chest, so I didn't even consider that the key might be used for it. Although, if you look at it, it says Ancient Iron Chest, which is a very vague hint that it's from the Iron clan. _________________ -Beelzebubba [ This Message was edited by: Beelzebubba on 2001-09-21 18:06 ]
