background edit bugs?

i used the background editor ta ummm... edit my character's background i later found out it screws stuff up. the dex gloves would never give their bonus and all other stats altering items. is it just me or did i do something wrong?

i know i know yah ain't supposed ta do that but help me out here.

 

If you maxed out your stats, you may not get bonuses from items simply becuase those stats can't get any higher.

 

not really maxed out... say i got a dex of 17 and those gloves would normally give a +2 right (assuming yah got enough magic affinify) it still wouldn't go up...

xento have yah used the editor?

 

To be honest, no, I haven't used the editor, sorry. I'm just doing the best I can by making a suggestion.
