piece of shit maze (can i say that?)

i used the editor cause i wanted to get that sword in the ancient maze

made virgil and my new char have 20 in everything, 100% magic, 5 in all colleges, 7 in all techs 5 + master in all skills, lvl 50, 10 fate points and extra hps and stuff, killed everyone in shrouded hills for gold/gear, then went to the maze.

i realized earlier today that their is a room like the sword on in the maze in kerlins alter w/ like 2000 gold in it... so i wanted to try this out.


i get to the place (easy enough hehe)

used every single spell... i was really hoping air form would work (it says you can fly and are like... dispersable)... it crashed before i could try the earth and necro black lines.. but i didn't expect anything from them.. maybe throw rocks to knock the walls in.. but im upset... hehe i really wanna know what this is (you can't identify anything thats not in your inventory either :sad:.

hehe now im gonna have to spend the next year in the maze, /sigh heheh

we'll see, maybe if i figure out the one at kerlins alter (since its a much smaller zone) then i can come back and do it at the maze.

other thing i wanna figure out is the finish to the skull quest.. heh i wanna do something noone else did. peace. jamie hehehe

 

boy do i wish i had solved it. nope. i just checked with troika to make sure it wasn't broken and it isn't. Mebbe i'll do the twin skull quest for awhile too :wink:

you get a fate point for finding the orge isle journal.. but when you come back the workshop is cleared... maybe.. just maybe.. if you find a way to fix the camera you broke at shrouded hills, and take pictures of the workshop?

Thw sword is called Arcane Sword. And if you solve the maze, I think you will get something like "Congratulations for solving the maze" in your quest logs. :smile:

 

like how to solve the maze? there isn't really a quest ot anything to solve there.

 

It's like a real maze...

 

what are you supposed to do? walk through the entire complex? kill all the creatures?
maybe you need to sacrifice virgil and spill his blood on the wall so it will open?
Maybe it opens up in presence of some artifact? Heck...

in my other game, I had collected a slew of arcane pieces.. perhaps wearing all the arcane gear you can walk through the wall and get the last piece...

dunno.

but i've killed everything, and stepped just about everywhere.

I think I'm going to kill Virgil near that sword, just incase. Thanks for the idea. His blood is on um.. my hands. Woo!

i doubt killing virg will do anything. and you can buy arcane swords from the identifier ladies... i don't see why they would put a special one.. maybe its an ancient sword? hehe

but their is also that one at kerlins alter... and their is no maze their to open it?

Liek the other poster said (forgot who), it's not really worth it. Unless the sword is need for another quest.

maybe that's what the desingers wanted? people like us chewing and spitting our brains out on a problem that has no possible solution? It would be very probable.

 

Intrestingly enough, I got the sword from the maze just through walking in and out.

Does everyone know you can climb across windows and enter the forest area next to the maze to access the back section?
