Where do I find Black Diamonds?

    So I'm trying to make an offering to Moorindal. The altar says, "Black Diamond". The books says, "Black Diamond". I have yet to ever see a black diamond in the game- is it called another name? On a wild theory, I offered coal, and was told I had the wrong offering.

    I'm 2/3rds through the Stringy Pete quest, so I've gotten pretty far. Am I just really unlucky to not have found a Black Diamond, or is it Krak-tua's Eye?

    I found one in the ancient maze on the south west area there are some gems lying on the ground

    Also there were several black diamonds in the Bangellian Deeps Quest for Stringy Pete.

    How about the ancient ruins? There are some diamonds there.

    Caladon

    There is one black diamond in the upstairs of the castle in Caladon. One of the rooms on the left hand side of a hallway in a chest. I don't know if there are any more because the guards caught me and whooped the tar out of me. :p

    Just do the third Stringy Pete quest and you'll find tons of 'em. :smile:

    Also, sold as random item by fences.
