I think that instead of talking about the weakest we should talk about the strongest.
My first opinion is that an elf with "only child" background is a very strong char if you invest only in Magick, altough he can have 1 companion at first you could just get yourself the jewel of Hebe and then raise charisma by 2 and its cool

A Half-Ogre Raised in the Pits is pretty badass. Just put points in melee, dodge, strength and dexterity, and he can pretty much destroy anything without too much fuss. Of course, you'll be grunting incomprehensibly for the whole game....

Halfling tech archer with a Pyro bow and grenades. Background doesn't really matter. A pure pleasure to play.

Elf ot half-elf Only Child or Sold Your Soul spellcaster (Harm+Fireflash+Temporal Mastery) with 100MA

Half-elf fighter mage Beat with an ugly stick with Temporal Mastery

Half-ogre sickly tech fighter specialized in smithy.

Halfling gunslinger Educator with an all tech team including all three gun toting followers.

The possibilities are pretty much endless.

A technologist with max points in Chemistry and Explosives. Give him/her some throwing skill and he/she can take down an army.

I've beat the game with an half-ogre warrior, and I swear, that was an easy trip. But I've yet to play anything that's more powerful than a persuasive elven mage. You don't need a special background or anything, just develop points into Charisma, Persuasion, Spells and some Constitution. Now you have power. Not only can you send entire armies to their dark destiny by merely snapping your fingers, you'll also have an army of followers that help to deal out the pain.

With Magnus, Gar, Sogg, Virgil, Dante, Dog, Jormund, Thorvald, Raven and Loghaire in your party, you do pack some punch.

It's a magical helm that gives you +4 PE bonus and a +3/4 bonus to bow at full power. The trick is that it's cursed so it lowers your health and your fatigue by (I think) 10%. It's found late in the game when you're trying to find a boat.

    Stagger Lee.
He wears rat-torn shoes and an old top hat, carries a droch's warbringer, ammo, and once i figure out how to add a deck of cards, he'll have one of those too.

Oh my. Jankiel, you've got a lot to learn about this place. Believe me when I say this - threads always stray off topic after a few posts.
