    I can see it now: a party full of dwarves! I' d really like to accomplish this, but i just don't know how. I only know of three NPC dwarves: Magnus, Thorvald, and the mage-guy. And I don't know how to convince THorvald to join in the first place... Anyone know of any ways to convince Thorvald, or... of any other dwarves?

    Loghaire can join if you learn about stone and shape and then use the right dialogue options. Learn about stone and shape from randver first

    Thorvald will join if you use the right dialogue options.

    I suggest taking virgil and sogg until you recruit enough of them for it to work.

    I've done this with a Melee and Dodge master who holds a doctorate in smithy. Everyone gets Pyro Axs and great armour and gear. I never took Sogg and I got rid of Virgil fairly early in the game. You can definitely go with just you and Magnus for a long time, provided you have good combat skills.

    Disregard Spore Caltrop, its a good idea.

    To get Jormund in Quintara you can force Hardin's Pass and ask him (recomended, he's only a lv20)
    or
    When you get to Quintara in the story you can complete the quest to prove his innocence and he will join you. I think he will join anyone with a rating of slightly below 0 to 100 good.
