Hehe, I think its about time that someone started a thread like this. Here ppl replying will tell us about their favorite chars and make fun off our chars. So i'll go first...

    Name: Summoner (creative, huh?)
    Level: 28
    Race: Elf
Backround: Beaten with the Ugly Stick
    Summoner/Fighter
Skills: full Summoning tab(Familiar ran away as said in another post) and maxed Melee
    Helm: Fine Helm
    Gloves: Chain Gloves
    Weapon: Envenomed Sword
Armor: Charmed Leather armor, 14 ac, 21 dr, 5 pr, 10 fr, 5 er
    Boots: Worn boots

Others dont have to be so discriptive or they can tell everything. I just wanna see whats everyone doing.

Also has anyone else noticed that Geater healing (lvl 3 on white necromancy) can heal scars, and how do you become trained/master on this server? Also i have 11 Character points to spend, and id like to remain magical. Any ideas?

Don't hat normally restrict your vision in real life. Just some added realizm by troika, but seriously -2 pe or 9 damage resistance which are you going to choose?

Well if someone is trying to cut off my head- I'd duck.

The helms in the demo don't protect your neck.

depending on the type of helmet i think... they might influence what u hear.. but probably not what u see..

perseption is your ability to notice ur surroundings. So helms would restrict ur perseption.

I suggest trying to put something around your head which only leaves your eyes open, if it's pretty big it'll actually be quite hard to see or indeed hear what's going on around you.

I like to have a charismatic character so that I can have more followers to help me out through the game.

Mine's this nifty female half-elf sorceror with mastery in Force, Summoning, White Necromatic, Mind, COnveyance, and Black Necromantic. She didn't have many nifty traits, but man o man those spells.

    Dreig - Half-orc

Background - Beat with an ugly stick

20 strength, 20 dexterity, 20 intelligence. He also had melee and dodge mastery. He had also maxed out the smity discipline.

He wielded a pyrotechnic axe (30-50 fire damage, plus about equal in physical and fatigue, made it myself ), wore a machined plate (spoils of war), wore a magickal shield, that ring from the forbidden pit, and some other magickal ring I think. I didn't pay too much attention to the helm/gloves/boots/amulet either. At least the helm was magickal I think.

Hit level 50 well before the end (somewhere around Tulla I believe) because I only had Virgil, Sebastian and Raven for company (only 9 charisma as well ). Could have soloed the game unarmed by the end (those Vendigrothean gauntlets rock!), end battle was very easy, and he had 12 character points to spare at the end as well. I'm telling you, NO ONE argued with this guy and one. He was invincible from about level 22 onwards (which happened to coincide with the creation of his pyrotechnic axe). Companions that fell along the way inlcuded Magnus (accidental save after death) and Sogg (warehouse with skulls, he was bitching too much anyway). Spent most of the game lightly encumbered as well thanks to the machined plate, but 65% damage resistance, and heaps of fire resistance made it all the more worthwhile.

As an afterthought, my favourite follower is Gar. Brilliant voice acting. Dreig killed him on his way to getting the Stillwater Giant pelt off HT Parnell (didn't realise he was a follower at that stage).

Dreig = Mean machine (but 100 good alignment) - I can't resist doing the good stuff most of the time, but evil is satisfying as well. I have a new half-elf sorceror who is only level 9 and has alignment of -40 or so.

Going through the game with less than 2 intelligence is so much more satisfying.
