I miss eing a technological marvel, but i do love the new fallout avatars. May be you could add a gallery with the old terra-arcanum avatars in it? Title it something like "T-A Classic Avatars" or something like that. I vow that i will have my sombrero boy avatar though...

You didn't use it before. Or maybe I didn't notice it? Not important.

I already stated before, our avatars are representing Troika's games. That does not include the custom ones obviously.

I like the new avatar system  . Ok, maybe that's just because i only had a short sword or something like that, but i think this is a great system: you have a large choice of avatars, but you can't pick any excessive ones, like you can in other forums. Top notch :)

Why is everyone being such whiny bitches about the change in avatars? It's much cooler this way. Even if you disagree, don't whine like a schoolgirl about it.

There are a bunch of avatars in the Arcanum section that aren't from Arcanum, unless there is a version I have never seen. Where are they from?

I like these very much. I was ever so tempted to go with the giant snake picture but I chose this instead. Before you ask, no, she looks nothing like me. It's really too bad I don't have a digital camera or scanner. . .

No clue. I guess they're from Fallout.

Please move them to the right directory, Jinxed-Sama.

The avatars mentioned were probably unused. But they are still there, in the dat files.

Don't say they are from fallout because that puts you in my black book. Why? First of all, you didn't play it and that's a major bummer. And the other thing is that you can compare the two and see that they don't fit together.

Actually they're right. There are images there that aren't from Arcanum.

Those things are from a game called Avernum. Incidentally, the RPGCodex allows you to use images from Avernum as an avatar...

You sure? I made a deal with Saint to import their avatars. Looks like they don't know of it.

Oh well, I'll delete them. I'm still thinking of getting those fallout wire avatars.

Oh, and I was right! He shoots, he scores! (Peter Griffin voice)
What is Avernum, by the way? It looks kind of cool, what with the cat folk and other garous.

It's some kind of RPG. Doesn't really look that good as for the outdated graphics and all that, but could of course be cool nonetheless. However, the mere fact that I've neither seen nor heard of it before makes me hear a warning bell ringing.

They've even got demos for download. Guess I'll have to check it out later, when I'm on my own computer.

"Avernum" is some kind of underground prison were practicioners of magic and fantastic creatures are sent. Cool...

Avernum is well liked at RPG Codex I believe, which is not a bad thing. Or maybe I'm thinking of Geneforge (could be both). Anyway, it's an independently developed game, which would be why you've never heard of it.

    Geneforge>Avernum

Played the demos of both, thouroughly. Both have flaws, avernum is just kinda illy in my opinion, geneforge is silly too in that i always got the eeling i was just playing a dungeons and dragons version of pokemon, but because of that the combat was more interesting in geneforge than it was in avernum.

This is all just opinion of course.

So ou picked a crappy looking mechanical armor avatar? Good thinking.

Why not use the one in ToEE Monsters, last column, 5th row down.

Sorry folks, but the galleries had to get killed. I'll bring them back soon. :(
