Saw that someone else was having problems with Arcanum in Windows XP as well... unfortunately, I can't even get the game to run at all. Every time I try to run it, the screen goes black for a few seconds and goes to the desktop. I've tried everything, from reinstallation to installing directx over again. Anyone know how to work around this? Any help would be much appreciated, as I'd hate to have to boot to Win 2000 every time I wanted to play Arcanum... The Turtle Moves
try compatibility right click on your arcanum.exe file.. go to properties then go compatibility try running it in windows 2000 emulation see if that works
