Just wanted to let you guys know that the cookies system will be changed in the next version of phpBB to give users the option to remain logged in permanently (so you won't have to type your password quite so often). phpBB 2.0 probably won't be out for a while, though. I did find a hack to implement it, but since it involves manually changing the database, it would make it a lot harder to easily upgrade to 2.0 when it comes out, so I'm going to wait for that. Fear not, though, you will have your persistent cookies at one point.
thats a good thing, not that this is overly irritaiting, an hour of non posting brings seconds of typing, well imo waiting/spending an other 2-3 seconds doing something else its not that bad. anyway, i'm sure version 2 brings more along then simple(ah...well kind of anyway :smile: )cookie features?
