A few more things that I've found in my (sadly, incomplete) beta build (3-13-01). The official way back to the Isle of Despair Yes, you could teleport back to the Isle of Despair from Tulla. Looks like, this was their original intent all time long, since it's present in such a late build. This portal was replaced with Black Root in the final version, most probably for balance reasons. What's interesting though, you can't get back from the IoD once you use the portal, since the ship wheel doesn't work (however, this can be easily changed). You can get the original art and scripts here. The beta version of the Flying Guil... I mean, Aerial Decapitator The Aerial Decapitator originally had a chain attached to it when thrown, just like in the movie. However, the art was altered for the release version, since the chain's movement seemed a bit awkward. You can get the original art here. I was meaning to post more, but there's not that much different stuff in this build, since it's so close to the final. It's interesting to note though, that Matt de Cesare wasn't in the game yet, the character was still named Leonid Anderson. The Fan Graveyard and the Old Blind Master weren't present either (yes, the Aerial Decapitator seems to be technically unavailable in this build without cheating).
It's nothing spectacular really. However, the original model for the Bedokaan was from this build as well, and it's probably the most important beta find so far.
Yes, but where is this movie? I never even heard of it. Or is it a 3D-cutscene from the Master Throwing quest or something?
