    Any advice? Especially for this tax thing. I thought 12% sounded nice and I was working on the concept that lower taxes = faster population and economy growth but with everything I'm reading, apparently unhappiness of the population doesn't matter and it's better to keep taxes high?

    Leave it at 28% The higher your happiness is the more income your citizens make, but you tend to make more out of taxes if you just take a large chunk of the lesser income the high tax causes.

    The highest I can set it without having negative happiness is 25%. What's negative happiness supposed to do (I hear it's bad)?

    I desperately need to trade resources with someone. Who would want Sugar and Uranium?

    ... and wouldn't joining the Grey Council nix any team +1 trade happiness bonus?

    Negative happiness isnt good, so stay with 25% until you get a little stronger. Trade resources can often boost your happiness as well, so check that out.

    We're working on the color issue, so any loss should be temporary. Anyway, the negative happiness you get from being clobbered and knocked into anarchy is far worse than any trade loss.

    With an alliance, you have protection and financial backing, both vital to survival.

    Your Grey Council forums are seriously fucked. I just registered but it looks like it has trouble sending the validation e-mail. No confirmation, no "e-mail sent", no nothing. Just a blank page. If I click "resend validation email" that too takes me to a blank page. Not sure if that's how InvisionFree forums are supposed to work but it doesn't seem right.

    I've made an application post anyway. Just as an unregistered member of your forums.

    As far as I can tell looking through the system set up by my predecessors you can't send out validation emails. I'll have to do something about this because at the moment I have to manually edit everyones profile.

    Okay DU, if I havn't set it up properly there should be a link up in the top right corner (or close to it anyway) that says 'Resend Validation Email'.

    Of course we all told the truth Tel, who here doen't care about people, the environment and world peace?

    I told the truth like Clinton, I just withheld certain info, like when they asked me how I found out about the GC, I just said "Vorak" instead of "Vorak, the evil conspirator from the House of Lords who wants to subjugate you all and convert you into the HoL Alliance!"

    They probably wouldn't have understood the humor, and might have asked me something like, "Why are you here?"

    Then I'd have to lie and say, "For world peace and hugging tree's"[​IMG]

    Oh, and dont blame me about the sorry state of affairs over there, I've lost my temporary admin position and been switched back to SUpermod.
    Oh well, it was charity work anyways.
