I was just trying the demo, so I pick human with raised by elves background (I wanted to try that chain armor) plus I bought the shield. Well, the game starts and I'm standing naked, I go to inventory and I'm trying to put that armor on me, wrong answer, "you cannot equip that" same goes for the shield. What the ..., anybody??
I was told by a reliable source, that you cannot use Chain in the demo! You cant use sheilds either. Seth - The art for the Elf and Barbarian armor wasn't put into the demo, so you can't wear it. It was for size considerations. That's the same reason that you can't play a femme, and why the "Orc Champion" summoning spell doesn't work... - Stravaig

Yeah it sucks though... but elven chainmail might be fun in the full version Personally, I'm trying out nietche poster child first in the full :grin:

hmmm..... well, that elven armour didn´t work but that sword+1 did....mmmm....nasty.... hehehehe, I´m playing as a half-elf warrior (16+ strength, 12+ dex, and 13+ con). :razz: But honestly folks, was it worth a 250-70 MB download? yes.
