I've heard of Camden and St. Matthews. They're both 2-3 hours north of Charleston, though. I've never been to either city. Glad you got to enjoy some of the ol' southern charm of Car'linah, though.

 

Yup I have ALOT of family back there! Don't go to either of those towns unless you want to be board to tears :cry: St. Matthews only has one traffic light and Camden.... hmmm I don't know what Camden has anymore :-?

 

Oh, I see. I thought you were calling me an illeterate peasant, which, you weren't. I quite agree with your above statment. I can't understand why people don't care, since they are living on this world. It's the same thing with slash and burn agriculture. People can't just be patient, always searching for a quick buck. Slash and burn ruins the dirt, so it won't grow anything in a couple years. It's so sad that people don't care at all, one does feel killing them. It is very despicable that these people refuse to stop doing what they are doing, despite the fact that they are driving many species to extinction.

(Yes, I realize you posted this a couple days ago, I just wasn't on. ^_^)

Child Dials Police to Report Grandma's Dumplings

LINZ, Austria (Reuters) - A four-year-old Austrian boy was so disgusted by his grandmother's plum dumplings that he dialed emergency services for help, Austrian state television ORF said on Tuesday.


When the startled policeman on the other end of the line in Linz, Upper Austria, asked the young caller what he thought the police should do, the boy was clueless, the report said.

The officer pleaded with the boy to give grandmother's plum dumplings (Zwetschkenknoedel) another chance. He agreed and hung up.
