Every pirate lives for something different. For some, it's the open sea. For others (the masochists), it's the food. For you, it's definitely the fighting. You can be a little bit unpredictable, but a pirate's life is far from full of certainties, so that fits in pretty well. Arr!

    What's Discworld?

An awesome series of fantasy books written by Terry Pratchett. Go read 'em. Now.

Just remember that Mr. Pratchett has done a lot of great non-Discworld work too, of which I could warmly recommend the Johnny Maxwell and Bromeliad trilogies. Oh, and be sure to read Good Omens, which he co-wrote with Neil Gaiman. A gem, that one.

Indeed, Bromeliad rules. (I've only read one book of the Johnny Maxwell ones, and it's quite good too.) It does get sort of overlooked sometimes, though.

Oh, it was you, Dark Elf... *hides katana behind her back, goes back to her Sandman*

    Your pirate name is:
    Bloody Harry Rackham :x
Every pirate lives for something different. For some, it's the open sea. For others (the masochists), it's the food. For you, it's definitely the fighting. You have the good fortune of having a good name, since Rackham (pronounced RACKem, not rack-ham) is one of the coolest sounding surnames for a pirate. Arr!

    Captain Sam Flint

Even though there's no legal rank on a pirate ship, everyone recognizes you're the one in charge. Like the rock flint, you're hard and sharp. But, also like flint, you're easily chipped, and sparky. Arr

    Your pirate name is:
    Red Bess Vane
Passion is a big part of your life, which makes sense for a pirate. You tend to blend into the background occaisionally, but that's okay, because it's much easier to sneak up on people and disembowel them that way. Arr!

ha!! i got something different from all of you!!! i'm special!!!

I know this is a bit off topic, but it has to be said. Bunny your sig cracks me up... :)

Ok, my REAL pirate name is -

    Dread Pirate Bonney

Like the famous Dread Pirate Roberts, you have a keen head for how to make a profit. You can be a little bit unpredictable, but a pirate's life is far from full of certainties, so that fits in pretty well. Arr!

    Cool! :)

Well pirate captains were actually elected so if the captain could keep everyone off balance he could be sure that he wouldn't be voted out.
