Sure, the chances of anyone actually winning the lottery is like a bazillion-to-one against, but hey, delusions are meant to be fun.

If you did win 10 Million in the Lottery though, what would you do with it?

Burn. At that moment you would feel yourself the richest man. But I myself would have just spent. Down charity.

I would buy a fucking P-MVA panel TFT with 1600x1200 resolution and 8ms response time!!!

(I spent my entire day looking for a reasonable non-wide TFT, but no, the best ones I found were the 20" wide (shit) 1680x1050 ViewSonic WX2025wm, the 20" 1600x1200 AOC LM2028 with 16 ms response time and fucking strong afterglow, and the 19" Belinea 10 19 20 and 10 19 15 and ViewSonic VP930 and VP191 with 1280x1024 resolution!!!!!)

Plan A: Build a nice gypsy wagon, learn how to properly handle a team, then take off and see just how much of this continent I can explore before I get too old and feeble to keep going.
Come up to a crossroads, mentally flip a three-sided coin, and go in whatever direction comes up.

Plan B: Buy all the rights and software associated with a certain video game..... :D

Invest some money into a few ventures, shave some years off of a plan or two.

    Put it in the bank.
    Live off the interest.
Take holidays from the human race whenever I feel like it.

Fund a variety of business interests used to generate renewable capital, and eventually build a private space agency.

You get lottery wins this big not as a single payment but in little pieces spread over some 20 years, so I wouldn't be getting too ambitious over 10 mil. Maybe buy a house, a decent car and fund some potentially profitable business project like... I don't know... the making of Arcanum II?

Oh and falconry. I would definitely take up falconry as a hobby.

There's also the lump-sum option, but you'll pay out he nose in taxes. If it helps, pretend its the after-tax sum.
I'm just curious what people would do if they were suddenly much wealthier than they are now.

I'm into Tongs idea. Just sit back and live of the interest. Or travel the world, on the interest, using some sort of Visa card to acces my bank, anywhere.
And I would, of course, get Arcanum 2 finished.

Maybe there, but down here any lottery win would be tax free, unless you classify yourself as a professional gambler, any money that you win is classified as 'wind fall gains' and is tax free.

They just make you pay through the nose in taxes the next year.

    Now we talk real boats.....

Oh well, one thing you could buy is a fancy house or something.

BTW, did anyone about Bill Gates? When he retiring he´s gonna donate 300 Billion dollars to different charity!!!!

    That´s kinda nice.

And still, he's going to have a lot more left even if he tried to donate the double...
