    ... sort of, anyway. You get to choose between Romans, Gauls and Teutons and create a village, and can use settlers to build new villages, or military might/diplomacy to conquer other villages.

    There are no daily updates, resources just keep ticking in at a rate depending on how many and advanced your farms, mines, clay pits etc are. Priority no1 for new players should be to get a working resource infrastructure as soon as possible.

    I have a teutonic village on server 2 called Patrik's Village, coordinates 122/240.

    I know a friend IRL who plays that. I've had a few villages, but stopped playing after e.g. 3h. Because it's kinda boring, and everything that you want to upgrade/buy takes real time.

    Mind you, I've been playing this for a few days now and I've come to realise how slow-paced it is. I suppose it takes off once ample resource infrastructure is established, but the way there is long and tedious. I don't even have a functional military yet. :(

    On the plus side, playing the game doesn't require giving it any significant attention and simply having it on a Firefox tab and give it a check every now and then works great.

    Whoever said I couldn't do both?

    Yeah, I've realised that. However, considering the simplicity of the game I'm more than content to simply have it sitting on one of my Firefox tabs and make improvements on my village whenever I have the resources.

    Im playing at the swedish server.
    My alliance( for wich I am one of the leader) is ranked 50 and I my self i ranked somewhere about 2000.

    The thing I like most about CN is the fact that it's a once a day for 5 minutes sort of thing. More frequent updates would defeat the purpose for me. If I had that kind of time I'd play World of Warcraft or something.
