As if you filled that whole form out. How fucking boring. I would rather staple my hands to my ears so that it looks like i think im an owl. No a fox. One thats heard a noise and is as such quite alert.
Even that would be more fun.

They could have been great had there been a prestige class designed for them, just like the Mystic Theurge was made for wizard/clerics.

I'm the only neutral evil so far.....interesting. I've never played a pen and paper RPG, but always wished I could now that the risk of being branded "a nerd" means nothing due to age.

They're infinitely better than video game RPGs due to the absolute open endedness and shear freedom of doing anything you want at the drop of a few lopsided dice. The biggest draw backs are getting enough people together to have a good session, and getting a good, descriptive, imaginative dungeon master/story teller who's willing to write/run a game.

It's also imperative that you have a focused, motivated group playing with you, it's not just the DM's job to create a good adventure, everyone participates... I once fell asleep during a horror RPG and began snoring heavily while the DM had everyone else shit their pants with his descriptions of the gameworld. :D

Wanna know what killed my game group?

    A hookah.

We started out smoking it while playing, but eventually it got to the point that if we had packed the bowl before setting up the board...we didn't really feel like playing anymore.
