Yellow outline + cross on map...?

Hi,
I´m guessing this isn´t very important, but still:
I just started the game and on the world map, Simon Fahrkus Shack has a yellow outline around the pink outline and a yellow cross in the middle.
The other locations only have a pink outline.
If I switch to continetal view, there is a small red dot for the crash site, a small green spot for the first town and a BIG yellow spot for the shack, the least important location I´ve found yet(or so I´d think...)
*leans out the window, screaming*
What does it all mean?

€: Ok, after playing for some time it seems that should point you to a quest location...?
Which is weird, because I already had done the quest and it still appeared that way. Well, anyhow

 

the yellow marking is supposed to be the most recent quest location. as some quests don't have a location assigned, the marking doesn't update on them
