It's been quite a long time since Jinxed was here... about the only old-timers still around are DU, rosie and (occasionally) Retard. We're on a quest to drag Jarinor back though, if we can locate him.

Of course it does although I haven't done any chef work in nearly 12 months. But Tel is now so the whole poisoning of the rich thing is still covered.

I think the last time Jinxed showed up was when the site got hacked.

Well Jank is Polish and does claim to be the 'God of Jankianity' a religion I helped found and then destroy. So yes, Poland is a variant of heaven.

Well, since your shitty Intelligence is the issue (your half-ogre's, not your own!), why not simply quaff an Essence of Intellect before speaking to the old elven chap?

I asked because your location says Tristram.

I don't play any online multiplayer at all.

They can be bought at General Stores, from Elven merchants, quite possibly from Magick shops as well. It's a bluish purple potion, anyway.

Just slay the old scumbag and pick up that sword (whatever DE feels like christening it) when you reach the Void -- it's in some semi-concealed cave in the "arrival area" I seem to remember.

Not quite the substitute for the Tula-Vendigroth (or however you phrased it; must get a memory soon!) deal, but a way to win through if you've accidentally smasherized the big N.

uhm, i know where the blade is, i just dont want to replace the end of the game with this mere excuse for an ending... it's just too damn lame to miss approx. 1/12 of the game because of some silly glitch

Glitch? You make a stupid character and expect the game to behave the same way it does when you make a smart one? If it did, that'd be a glitch.

no no i meant that the game is supposed to be as full as possible and it should include all the parts of the "good"/"evil" plot, no matter what silly character you have, and it doesnt, it just gets you stuck without any idea of what you're supposed to be doing.

if it'd be my first time playing i would have no possible idea where i get teleported to (the void) or what i'm supposed to be doing there, or what is going on in general...
That's why i call it a glitch, or in other words, a fuck up.

No its not a glitch its putting a stupid character in a situation where he has no idea whats going on. Sounds about right to me.

Leaving the player with no other option but to kill Nasrudin (which is a pathetic option for a good character) is a bad design mistake in my book, even when made by Troika. Just like evil characters have to prove themselves to Nasrudin by slaying that whateveritsnamewas beast, dimwits should have been given something to do as well. My two cents.

That monkey thing the 'Bogaroth' I think its called is probably the single most disapointing quest in the game. You get told this thing is so powerful that Nasrudin couldn't beat it and then you kill it in 2 sec flat.

That's because you're the superhero and Nasrudin is in a much weakened state. Then again, apart from the Fallen Paladin and Stingy Pete it's not like there's much challenging combat in Arcanum anyhow. All Kerghan ever had was a shitload of hitpoints.
