I have Virgil with me and his dexterity stat is now red. It's down by 1. Is there any way to heal him?

Yes. I believe that "major healing" should heal such injuries. If it doesn't, you must learn the heal skill yourself and become an expert at it, or something. It's the only way, I'm afraid.

After enough time the wound (if he's actually wounded) will heal on it's own. You didn't by chance give Virgil a "Blackstone Blade" did you?

Handy-dandy sword that permanently lowers your dexterity when you equip it. Followers like to equip it when it's still un-identified.

    hmm.

I don't know. I don't remember that weapon. But it might have happened. The ability damage doesn't go away when the weapon is gone?

He's also had the dexterity damage for a long time in the game.

the blackstone blade knocks off 4 dex each time it's equipped permanently.

I doubt virgil would be missing only a single dex point if it were involved but if it was then no dropping the weapon would not help. in fact dropping it can make it worse if it gives him another chance to re-equip the item afterward.[/i]

Where the heck do you get that? It would be the perfect weapon for a thief.. You could plant it and stuff!

In the sewers beneath Tarant, in a barrel to be exact. (in the large portion of the sewers)

Oh dear. Those sewers are quite vast, as you know. Oh well, I guess I'll find it, eventually.
I want that sword. Badly :)

it's not that great for planting because even though it knocks 4 dex off when they equip it it also has decent stats so overall you won't weaken your enemy that much even if they equip it.

it's best value is probably it's resale value when it's identified.
