id like to try and learn to use the world editor...abnyone know why its impossible to move across the map? well, without clicking the highly imprecise miini-map?

 

ill assume you're referring to the one spelling mistake thats there in any case why then did you bother saying that?

Xz is apparently quite annoyed by you spooky, I'm too tired to be, although you are showing some of the same habits as people who have annoyed me at other points in the past.

First of all, double-posting is against the rules. As is gravedigging, don't remember if you did that, but whatever, just know that for the record.

On this board we try to maintain proper spelling and grammar conventions. This isn't an English class, and allowances are made, but the key word is that we try. A good way of visualizing this is capitalization, it's a basic rule that by simply following shows you keep the English language system in mind when you write.

Your question has been answered many times before, I will answer it now again. For future reference, AMTUT, which is somewhere on this site, is a good reference for WorldEd issues. On another note, all things related to WorldEd belong in the Modding and Scripting Support Forum.

Ok, go into WorldEd. Make sure number lock is on. Hit 2 on your number pad. You should scroll down. I think you can figure it out from there. If you use a laptop and don't have a number pad, like me, you should see little numbers on the j,k,l keys and above them. Those numbers form a pattern that vaguely resembles a number pad. Hit number lock and use them.

 

i appologize if im doing anythign to annoy anyone, but i've just signed up today and havent had a chance to go over all the rules yet, but i assure you i will .

however i am prone to make mistakes when i type and yes i do try to catch as many as i can but my posts tend to contain one or two that i miss or dont realize are in fact imistakes, so ill say that upfront.

however since we're on the subject what annoys me is when i make one mistake and it gets picked apart and i get insulted for no good reason besides someone getting annoyed, if i make a mistake, by all means tell me, i woudl just appreciate that people be decent about it, at least to me, all i ask is some courtesy.

 

Capitalise the first letter in every sentence and noone will care much about your spelling.

 

Except, of course, people who give a rat's ass about spelling. NO ONE. Two words, damn it all.

 

I'm not trying to not extend courtesy. Other people can speak for themselves.

However, please remember that there have been many new members before you, many of which have not been as understanding of our spelling and grammar policies. So if any of our members seem a little standoffish on the point, it's because of having people in your position bitch at us for having our policies.

I'm not implying that you're doing that, merely asking you to remember to grant us the same courtesy that I'm prepared to extend you.

If you could start capitalizing, that would be nice. Stupid as it seems, the first letter of your post being grammatically wrong, not capitalized, gives you an illusion of being just another random 13 year old with a computer, regardless of reality. You're obviously quite educated, but while your posts may speak of that education, any cursory glance would be left with the impression that you're not to be taken seriously.
