wondering about the AC (armour Class)

    Not too sure how it works in Arcanum, but I believe it is the chance that your armour takes the impact, rather than yourself, and so is a measure of how much of a chance there is of you avoiding taking damage in a fight.

    Have you not played an RPG before? You wear armor to make yourself harder to kill. :deadly: Just make sure it's not cursed. Some types of hexxed armor will cuase people to attack you on sight.

    AC, prevents piercing attacks(e.g. backstab) and reduces chance of a critical hit also. I don't think AC increases resistance in Arcanum, because my resistance DID NOT change as i highered my AC. However, resistances increase AC.

    Some armor increases restances as well. Hover your courser over the little shield in the corner of the equiped screen & you get a breakdown. Ditto for the little sword & offense.
