Wierd fighting bug Pls Help!!!

This is my 2nd time playing through Arcanum, and the first this has happened to me. I am at the Wheel Clan, and when I get to the Ore Golem and start attacking him we have a couple of turns, and then I can't attack him any more. :cry: I use turn based, and have tried swapping, but still can't attack him. Virgil will keep fighting him, but Magnus wont, and Virgil just can't kill him all on his own. I can attack and kill other creatures with no problem. This is getting really frustrating, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, i'll try to help you on this...

When the the aforementioned problem occours, do this:



Go into options, shift to real time, go back into the game, if it helps, turn the real time off again (assuming you DO play real time), if nothing here helped, please write back

 

Try changing your position. Maybe the way the three of you stand Virgil is the only one who can reach the golem with his sword.

 

When i think this over, i might have had the same problem in the wheel clan "shudder", and i think i had to load a savié...

Bad luck if you can't load..


Maybe a Patch ?, the newest should fix ALL kinds of little probs, you know, wolves running thru walls, people shooting at random times, ect....

Thanks for all the help. I tried switching to real time from turn based during the fight, but still couldn't attack him. I had saved just before entering the wheel clan and tried again, same thing. What does work is if I go into the fight in real time to start with.. Kinda wierd, but at least I now have a way around it, I was getting extremely frustated.
