Before today had you ever heard of Pericles?

  1. Yes (I like the Athenians and I'm probably twisted enough to respect the Carthaginians)

I think the Greeks were way much cooler than the Romans. You just can't beat the Spartans.

Yes, but how many times did the Spartans definitively beat armies aside from other Greek states?

Just great mathboy, now it looks like I made a double post.

Oh, whatever. They were cool enough for me. Their way of life and everything. It fascinates me.

Good god, Vorenus is the coolest character to ever appear on a tv-screen.

I saw an ad for it, but I don't watch that much TV so I didn't see it.

Is it worth looking out for the DVDs?

True. But some of my pals tells me it's no good. I haven't seen it so I won't judge it. Yet.

No good? Oh, they will burn when the end times come! (I saw a program about the biblical apocalypse on National geographic today.)

I've read several books about it. Only one of them was good though; it was realistic. And it didn't involve voices coming from the far heavens and four riders and whatever. It was about the world and about what will happen in a not to distant future. If we want to believe that the apocalypse is neigh.

I was surprised to find that Pestilence and Famine weren't riders. Or, not separate riders anyway.

That was my option, except I don't really like the Athenians. Carthaginians rawk, as do Hittites and Sumerians. The Ugarites were quite nice in their days, too.

I actually chose Yes because I had actually heard of Pericles before (History of Art class ftw!), but whatever...
