In the beginning Nobodie made the 'Who needs a laugh' thread and it was good. Years later, Vorak made an imitation thread as a joke, it was never supposed to last. Then Frigo the poster of lists made a list of even paler imitations and the magic was shattered forever.
I added my two-cents worth with the title "Who Needs a Hobbit-Hole?". So there's plenty of blame to go around.
What do you expect? That thread was done to death by everyone who was trying to raise their post-count.
True, but it's not the 1000+ reply count that nobodie garnered in his thread. But, it does somehow show a waning popularity of "sequels".
