The Cure is a rock-pop-goth band led by Robert Smith; they had greatest hits, such as "Friday I'm in love", "Lovecats", "Love song" and "Boys don't cry". You must have heard those.

 

Sorry, I've never heard any of those. Who else here except Bunny heard of the cure or the songs?

 

I'll admit to having heard about The Cure. My half-brother thinks they're great, but I never heard anything I liked.

I like some songs from The Cure, but I'm really not into the band.

 

The Cure wasn't emo, althouh they were close. My main problem with the Cure is that they spawned emo. They're like negligent parents who let their shit-for-brains kids run around making a mockery of their exploits. If I could move I would smite one of them right now.

 

On the contrary, the Cure invented emo. One of my friends was into them, and we was always depressed. We introduced him to punk and cured that non-sense. The cure was like the last of new-wave bands and is what gives goths a bad name twenty years later.
