I've only gotten depressed once when I was drunk, and its because I was sure, at that point, that I'd lose all of my friends because I became uninteresting and anathema to their likes and dislikes. It wasn't true, but I still sometimes worry whether or not my friends will grow past me.

I don't normally get depressed when I'm drunk because I guess I don't care about anything. Try apathy.
