A hell of a lot of the persons whom were "banished to the void" also had that.

 

Heh, I remember Dragoon posted one news item, about The Fall (some shitty German game) and the rest of the staff back then were mad at him because it wasn't Arcanum or Troika related, so he never posted any more news.

But he did have a Fallout inspired signature.

 

Nope, this was long before that, I think it was either about the time I joined or about the time I stopped lurking, and I was being made news poster here pretty recently.

Does anyone remember why he joined the staff anyway?

 

Hey, I remember ordering that game a year ago. And I don't think it's been un-Germanified (*) yet...

(*) Or "localized" in an international let's-all-understand-English kind of way.

 

You ordered the German version? Was it any good?

 

No, I stupidly ordered the English version, thinking it would be translated and released in a jiffy.

But here we are, a year later, and the game remains German. (And buggy as hell, as I hear it.)

P.S: The fall didn't turn out well? That's wonderful. I'm glad I never put up the effort to learn german and buy the german version. That game looked really good. It's a shame, really. It had great potential. Like a mildly obese virgin.

 

How the hell did you even manage to become unbanned 3 times let alone banned DarkFool?

 

I got banned over two years ago after trying to fight back against Jarinor. He flamed the heck out of me for doing something noobish, like not using the search engine, and called me all kinds of obscenities, insulted my avatar, and even bashed on my user name. So I lashed back and pitched a fit or something, I dont recall, but when I tried to log back in, banned. I got mad and promptly forgot about HoL.

The amnesia of the event is starting to wear off now, and I wake up in a cold sweat screaming obscenties. Strangely enough, I found my way back here. It must be all you friendly people, drawing me back in like so many vampires.

 

The question now is, what was your old user-name?

 

I dont friggin recall, and I've searched names that I might have chosen. I only posted five or six times, I think in the Arcanum Discussion thread, but the IP would have been completely different.
