Actually, our connection at work got blown out by a funny incident. Our ISP told our network admin that the ADSL had problems and he needed to turn the router off. He turned it off. Hours later, they said turn it back on, all is fixed, and he did, but it no longer worked. When he told the ISP this, they said "Oh yeah, those models have to stay on 24/7 or the components contract on cooling and break." Thanks guys, we had a day and a half without web for that.

Coincidentally, my home connectionbroke on the same day (and is still broke. If anyone has an explanation why I may be able to send packets out, but not receive them, I'd be interested to hear it. So far, I have traced it onto my system (ie. it isn't cabling, ub or router) and have tried re-installing network adapter and TCP/IP, and tried running with the firewall off, but to no avail.

I think my month-old motherboard may be broken. The supplier I used says 4-6 weeks for a replacement ...

Anyway, the question we should be asking, is where the god damned bugger is Milo? He hasn't posted at all for several days. I think he might have been knocked out by a sig request overload again, or else his motherboard had the same lifespan mine did.

No sig overload this time. As long as that thread got, there were only a few requests (which I still have to do, btw, so I'm still a lazy ass).

I've got family visiting right now. They're leaving sometime tomorrow, though, so I should have more time online.
