Which patches/mods to use for maximum game experience?

Hi to you all. I found my Arcanum CD which i haven't played in years. Anyway, i would like to re-experience this amazing piece of art once again. I've checked your download section, but i don't know which patches should i use to maximize my gaming pleasure. Should i use all of the recommended ones? And do they all go together?

 

First install the official 1074 patch, then the Unofficial Arcanum Patch by Drog Black Tooth. After those two you can install the Extra patch by the already mentioned Drog B.T. in order to restore some of the things or/and the 1024x768 patch to enjoy the game in a higher resolution.

Well, that's my recommendation.

The official 1074 patch

Recommended:

Drog's 1024x768 resolution patch

Recommended after you've played through the game at least once:

Drog's unofficial patch

Call me nostalgic, but I think the first playthrough of the game should be with the vanilla 1074 patch. It makes you appreciate Drog's work even more.

And I absolutely agree with you, the FIRST playthrough should be only with the 1074 patch.

as for 1024x768 mod .. im unsure. I have yet to see a mod which tweaks screen resolution but does not make AI a mess. But this is sure probably handy to have, but i have no exp on this.

 

It really looks great. I was a bit skeptical at first, but it turned out to be great. Also didn't notice any problems with the AI.
