Some of these threads need to either be closed or sent to some sort of graveyard...

I had a halfing with master prowl and gunslinger with the looking glass rifle and I was pretty much invinsible. I loved that character. I've never liked playing as high strengh ogre meat head types, I enjoy the more interesting characters.

dig up? it was on the first page? chill out people. I'm a noob here but I first played arcunam in 2001.

Edit- I hadn't realised someone had dug this up form 2003, it said 2008 so i assumed it was ok, I'm not normally a digger. And I didn't realise you whinge if it's even older than a week. So go an swear at the person that dug it up from from 2003 and not me from august 2008. I'll be more careful in future.

I was going to make a witty retort, but I can't argue with that statement.

Not Charmander. Bulbasaur is weak against Charmander.

That depends on the nature, as well as the EV and IV spread of both pokemon as well as which type of setup you're going for with charizard and venusaur.

A bold Venusaur with Sleep powder, sludge bomb, Hidden Power Rock, Leech Seed and a Life Orb to up the damage does pretty good on the standard SubSalac Bellyzard. Switch Venusaur into something that'll run from it and to lure out the 'zard. Hit it with sleep on the switch in and then HPRock. Should get it down to around 1/4 HP activating Zard's Salac berry but making Substitute and Belly Drum unusable. Charizard's Earthquake and Firepunch will do a lot of damage to Venusaur but with good health EV and IVs he should be around to retaliate causing a 2HKO on Charizard. Torterra does it better though (replacing sludge bomb with woodhammer).

If both are your lead pokemon though Charizard all the way.

Of course this is assuming that the opponent doesn't just switch out when you sleep it.
